Hi, I’m Vaunda Jo Montoya — literacy coach, mom, and a lifelong lover of children's books. For over 20 years, I’ve worked in ESL classrooms, early childhood programs, and literacy intervention — helping children (and their parents) unlock the joy and confidence that comes from knowing how to read.

But my journey didn’t start with fancy teaching degrees or big curriculums… It started with my own children. When I first decided to teach my kids to read at home, I was overwhelmed, confused, and frustrated.
